Welcome to Ladakh. You'll land at Leh Kushok Bakula Rinpoche Airport, one of the highest operational airports in the world at over 3,500 meters. After transfer to the hotel, the day is kept free for acclimatization.
After breakfast, drive through the lower western part of Leh, following the Indus River.
After breakfast, head for Khardung La at 18,380 feet, a drive that feels like walking through the clouds. From the top, the views across seemingly endless peaks and ridges are hard to describe.
Today you'll bid farewell to Ladakh and transfer to the airport in the morning, taking with you some memorable views of the mountains.
